3rd Grade Bible Class
It is customary for AUMC to present 3rd graders with their own personalized Bible, after which the children are invited to attend an overnight lock-in event that will help them discover the many ways in which the Bible is and can be used. Bibles will be presented on January 24, 2009.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word revealed and that the Bible helps us know God and to know how God wants us to live our lives in relationship to God and to others.
This class will teach the fundamentals of using the Bible and help the children learn how Scripture is important in their daily lives.
This years lock-in will be February 5th and 6th. We begin on Friday at 6:00pm and finish up Saturday at 11:00 am. This lock-in consist of a "Treasure Hunt" theme and is filled with fun and adventure as we discover together the treasures the Bible has in store for us.
